I wouldn't buy anything from a place called Wacky Wally's.Quote:
I can't wait to head over to Wacky-Wally's for a box of these.
I'm with the Luigi's shaved ice crowd on this issue. Or the frozen Minute Maid lemonade (even better, but hella expensive). Pop-ice was cool as a kid because it was the only thing my grandma ever bought me that had flavor or that hadn't been sitting in a antiquated candy jar for 8 years, resulting in one huge mega-chunk radioactive Werthers piece.
If it was warm enough I'd be eating about a box a week...
But it's not - because it's snowing outside. -______________-
It's hot here even in December. I could eat popice all year long, were I so inclined.
I preferred Flintstones Push Pops, though.
For you east coast people my favorite Italian Ice place is Rita's (http://www.ritasice.com/) They close for the winter but they're opening up again this month!
I've got a Rita's a few blocks down from me--fucking awesome stuff, though I've never bought it around here, only on the Jersey shore. I prefer the shaved ice and stuff too, but nothing beats hundreds of popice sitting in YOUR own freezer, which is what makes it so appealing...and the fact that they're what? 2 cents each? :p
still the f'n best.Quote:
