It's soooooooo bloody hot here I am losing my mind. I had an ice cold shower... I had pop-ice... I sat in front of the fan... but I can't stop sweating. I hate the fucking summer.
Icepop, go buy me a damn air conditioner!!!!! :noob:
i live by my self so i barely wear anything regardless. i'm always answering the door in various forms of nakedness. anyways, i live in washington and most of you would laugh at what i consider hot.
I moved from Virginia to Maine two years ago, and let me tell you, it's very different up here. However, summer heat is summer heat, and we get it just like everywhere else, including humidity. I happen to live in an upstairs apartment with no central air, so I never wear more than my underwear duing the day. Hell, by the time August rolls around, sometimes even that's too much to wear. :sweat:Quote:

Nighttime is a different story. That's when we, the entire state collectively, turn on our window fans to cool us off. It's great. And yes, fall here is indescribable (especially in the hills/mountains where I live). You just have to see it for yourself. The only thing that sucks about New England is spring - we don't have one, persay. The locals call it "mud season", which is accurate, and the flowers and trees don't bloom until mid-May.
The heat sucks. I perfer winter, myself. Guess I moved to the right place. :D
Fuck the heat. Fuck the summer. Fuck them up their stupid asses. I live in Annapolis, MD, and it's rained here about 9 out of 10 days for the past 2 months. Not all day, just for a few hours each day. I think it's great, because it keeps the temperature down. If it wasn't raining all the time, it would be 90+ degrees every day. It's been around 70 for the past few months, and it's fuckin' great. But it didn't rain today, and it was too damn hot.
Besides that, since it's been raining so much, all the foliage is beautiful this year. Last year we had a drought, and everything died. Hooray rain!!!
Well... my basement is leaking because of all the rain.
Its almost worth it to have the nice temperatures weve been having.
I usually beat the heat by first luring it into a false sense of security by panting or pretending to give in, then BAM my ego steps in and crushes it with its enormous girth.
That or air conditioning,
that usually works.
New England has been pretty fucked up though so far.
No hot days to speak of, and its almost July. Its raining now actually.
this summer is going to suck. i have to push carts (uphill, mind you) and load heavy objects in southern california heat.... i think i might pass out a few times.
at home, ill be sitting in front of the fan with cool air blowing up my shorts. oooooooooh yeah.
For the first time in at least a month it hasn't rained AND it went over 70 degrees. WOO! Haven't seen the sun if 4 damn days.
I just limit my exposure to it. I live but an hour from the beach, yet I haven't been to it for about 3 years. I work as a dairy stocker at a grocery store, so unless I'm going somewhere to eat, I'm in a 70- degree artificial climate for eight hours or so. Going through the day isn't hard at all.
