We're Hiring A New Editor (IGN)
Just thought I'd pass this along in case some of you missed this. We're hiring a new editor (yes, you will be paid to play videogames) and thought that some of you may be interested (Bahn, Reno, and Mark Ryan for instance do freelance for us when they can). Pasted below is the article in its entirety:
BTW, this is for the cube channel.
---------------------------------------------
Do you have a passion for videogames, particularly by Nintendo or for Nintendo's GameCube console? Do you like to write? IGNcube is looking for a new editor to join the team -- and he or she could be you.
IGNcube wants an individual who:
- Prides himself or herself on being in tune with the videogame industry and has an understanding of game software and technology
- Can write clearly and concisely, but can also turn out stories quickly in order to meet daily deadlines
- Can work well and even excel under pressure
- Lives in or can relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
- Preferred, but not necessary skills include:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Cleaner and/or Pro Coder. Ability to read and speak Japanese.
Got what it takes? We challenge you to prove it. You might just get a job out of it. Here's what we want you to do:
Write a review of any recent GameCube title; (must be between 800-1500 words and authored in the style of other IGNcube reviews). Then, go to IGN Wire, select a GameCube-related press release and write it up as an IGNcube news story; (be sure to adhere to IGNcube's news style)
Send us both, along with your resume (which includes full contact information), and if we like what we see you'll be hearing from us.

Send all applications and materials to cube_mail@ign.com with a subject line of "Editorial Position".
Goodluck guys!
