Are reruns killing your boxset plans?

You know, I LOVE Seinfeld, and have been seeing MANY posts on Amazon saying,... where is Seinfeld!?? Etc. etc. But really, when it comes out I don't know whether I will be able to fork over 50 or so bucks when A. the first 2 or 3 seasons were slow anyway (like most shows) and B. Man, this is on literally 3 times A DAY, and yes I have indulged and then some.

This happened with me and the Simpsons, the same exact scenario. I just can't bring myself to buy something I can see for free or probably won't watch more than once. I know the extras are pretty good, but even as a fan there is really only so much I want to know. I recently picked up the Frasier boxset because I have never seen any first season shows, and I probably wouldn't have otherwise.

Even the best shows are headed for overkill with reruns... don't watch em!:)

Well, The only boxsets of tv series I would love to have are:

1. Millenium Season 1&2
2. Nash Bridges (Hell I love this cop show, too bad they pulled the plug :()
3. Brimstone (Another pretty good Fox horror show that got killed off :(
4. Lone Gunmen - I had more fun with this series than with last 3 seasons of Xfiles.
5. Freaky Links - Some good scares and some funny moments. Another series that Fox killed. See the pattern :(

I don't watch TV anymore, so no.

I want a DVD boxset of Space Above and Beyond.

I want a DVD boxset of Astroboy.

and Millenium was a sweetTV show too. I only saw the first season or so though.

2nd Season was the best. Some really good episodes, and Season 2 finale is still stand out as one of the weirdest and coolest things I saw on tv.

I have no problems buying early season box sets due to the episodes in them rarely being shown on TV now. I'm not a huge Seinfeld fan, so I'll just stick to the reruns when the box sets come out.

I would be all over a Parker Lewis Can't Lose boxset.

The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. would be pretty sweet, too.

I like to have the box sets, that way I don't have to abide by the timeframes of scheduling. I don't usually make a schedule around TV, so when I come home and they're playing shit on TV like American Idol 2, I can just watch any Seinfeld I want.

Hehe, yea forgot about Parker Lewis... but what is up with the Get a Life dvd's? Good God, would I ever kill for Get a Life to be given the "full season" treatment instead of these best of's... cause you know EVENTUALLY they will bring it out,... only after they have you suckered into 3 or 4 dvd's you really don't need.

*Andrew, not to be rude but there is a little invention that came out some years ago called the VCR, ever heard of it?

Three series that I hated to see cancelled; I thought I was the only person in the U.S. to watch Freaky links.

Millennium disappeared way before its time. I was pissed to see it cancelled and NBC's Profiler live on.

As for the Gunmen, man I loved that show. I'm surprised it didn't last longer. I think the corny jokes and Jimmy Bond chased away many of the potential viewers.
