Anyone planning to watch the final four episodes, subtitled Endgame? Apparently, things are going to really pick up, what with the return of David Duchovny (he's directing the next episode and will have a large role in the two-hour series finale).
Actually, things are already picking up thanks to Sunday's episode where, and I kid you not, The Lone Gunmen were killed. It was a bad episode, but during the last ten minutes, I was speechless.
I don't know. I stopped watching the X-Files for quite awhile ever since it became incredibly cheesy. I actually liked the short-lived Lone Gunmen series and last night's episode left a really bad taste in my mouth when they killed off ALL THREE OF THEM. They couldn't have given a better title for that episode (Jump the Shark).
Yeah, although I wasn't moved to tears, I was all like:
"What, they killed the Lone Gunmen?!?!?, I can't believe this!"
Too bad Mulder wasn't at the funeral.
Anyway, of course I'll pay my respects to series and watch the last few episodes, but I must say, that the name "end game" is so cliche.

Heh, anyways - that sucks about The Lone Gunmen. I supposed Chris Carter had his reasons (boredom) and when it winds down to the final episodes, we can find something to be satisfied about. Hearing about their deaths does not excite me...bleh.
Here's also hoping there isn't another attempt to bring the X-Files to the big screen. :p
Ah, bloody hell, I was watching WWF Backlash at Hooter's and I forgot to record Sunday's episode. They killed off ALL of them? I thought it was just gonna be ONE person? Wow, Chris Carter's got some balls :p
I stopped watching the show after a short time. Every freakin episode went like this:
Mulder: It's a conspiricy!
Scully: No, there's a logical explination, there must be.
Followed by lots of bull.
Repeat every episode, every season. zzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZ.....
I didn't watch when the T1000 and that other lady showed up, but from what I heard, it was just the opposite of M&S, with the guy being the skeptic and the girl the 'believer'.
If I'm wrong, please correct me, but it doesn't sound fun to watch IMO...
The Lone Gunmen was hilarious though... IMO the only good thing to come out of the XF.... figures it wouldn't last...
The episodes I liked the best were the "side-story" episodes that had nothing to do with the overall flow of the series. The <b>true</b> X-Files.
