I'm saddened by the low scores Evil Dead recieved. That $20 game is actually fun IMO. Hell, I finished it too. That has to be the worst rated game I have ever liked. I thought the combat was fun. Bruce Campbell made it worth playing. I hope the game sells enough to warrant a sequel. Ash in a feudal Japan setting could be amusing. I think the game is at least a 5 or 6. 2 is just stupid low.
bah, I forgot to send in a change of address thingy when I came home from school. No EGM this month.
Wario score is disappoining, but it doesn't seem like a game with wide appeal, and if the main criticism was length, then I should have no problem.
I'm a big PSO fan...but I don't think PSO is a 9 game. More like an 8. Then again, scores don't say a lot about a game, do they?
So thray, I'm guessing you played Lament? What did you think of it?
The gameplay is excellent (even at this early stage in dev.) and overall, it shows tons of promise. I'm really looking forward to it.Quote:

Oh yeah, which reviewers gave what scores for Wario?
Was the Wario World an early build? Cause the game isn't out for another month, and then there was the lead time it took to publish it. I can't imagine it being complete.
The Wario reviewers were CJ, G. Ford, and Jen. And yes, it was reviewable... like all of our games are. A reviewable lockbox given to us by Nintendo for the express purpose of being reviewed. sheesh.
Seems like a fair score to me.
from what I played, Wario World is solid fun, but nothing outstanding.
Castlevania - I'm still unsure about. The E3 demo felt like DMC with a whip, and I don't care for DMC. The item/element combinations were cool though.
