Bethesda Softworks has announced that The Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon- the expansion for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind- has gone gold and will ship the first week of June. Something interesting I found out is that there are quests that only become available to you after you've been turned into a werewolf! That's pretty damned cool.
I wonder what will happen if your character is a "vampire" and then get's bitten by a werewolf...hmmm.
you get crushed to death by the hyphens. Whats well done is that supposedly the quests com in the form of dreams similar to how dagoth ur harases you later in the original game.
I actualy asked that same thing during the Bethesda meeting at E3. You're either/or, so if you're a vampire, you have to be cured before you can be a werewolf.Quote:

Oh! That makes sence. Do you actually have to be cured first, or does becoming a werewolf emediatly negate your vampiric powers?
I would imagine you would have to be cured of being a Vampire first before you could contract Lycanthropy... but I'm just guessing so I don't know for sure.

That kind of sucks. How much trouble is it to be cured of vampirism?
Once you find the being who can provide the cure, one simple quest is all it takes. Though finding this being is a quest in itself. I actually found him by accident during my usual looting. :pQuote:

Since vampirism is a disease which alters the victims biological structure and makes them immune to other diseases as a result, it makes perfect sense you can't also become a werewolf.

The melee combat in this game is so terrible that even if the rest of the game were perfect, I still wouldn't play it. And it isn't. So I don't.

I purchased Bloodmoon from Amazon this week, it was only 17.00 WOO HOO. The new areas are great, and I have fought a few wolves and bears. Granted the combat could be better, it is not that bad. Anyway, I just wanted to say that the expansion is much better than Tribunal.
