and despair i hope you do realise im just kidding with you
Sony published the Raiden Project in 95.
My PS2 died and I could give a shit less cause I don't have to replace it till MGS3 comes out. Yeah Sony, has some good games, but most of the reasons to own a Sony system isn't for 1st party games, but it's the exclusive 3rd party games. Which are becoming less and less.
"they aslo are reported to have turned down and not allowed many other 2D games to be made or published on the PS"
Well, thankfully those reports went unread by all the developers of shockingly brilliant 2D software on the system.
I'm pretty sure it was the easily bought, sheepish honkie public that kept alot of 2D content from landing on American shores. I mean 3D was new and 2D was old. Only sorryass poor bastards who get made fun of have old shit. I mean no way is 50 Cent playing some oldass 2D game :) If 4D doesn't hit soon all this old 3D shit could spell the end of videogames as a marketable entity.
I still don't understand the DDP thing. Especially since DonPachi got a budget rerelease at the end of last year.

An Alien. I dont really see anything wrong with Ratchet design. It fits the game just fine.Quote:

Yes, yes it does. Perfectly in fact.

 Sly Cooper was all right. I can't see how any fan of plattforming can't like that game. It's not as good as Mario but it's solid 8/10 fun.
Ooh, I totally forgot about Ghost in the Shell. I really don't like anime at all but that game was pretty fresh. Controlling the fujikoma was easily and really fun. Plus the anime sequences were nicely done. I need to find that game...My only complaint about it was that it was WAY too easy.
I'm a hardcore PaRappa fan. Always have been always will be. I gotta say though, Um Jammer slaps down the original PaRappa. I always felt that the Um Jammer songs were a lot more catchy (Fright Flight, Cutting Corners). Also, the PaRappa versions of the songs were all really nicely done. UJL just felt a lot more complete to me.
Most? Don't be such a tool.Quote:

ICO was great... but i can't think of much else sony has contributed as a first party..
and we are talking about them as a first party, right? Because most of the games listed were done by 2nd party devs.
Games Sidez listed that were developed by Sony:
Ape Escape 2
Devil Dice (XI-GO)
Fantavision
Otostaz
ICO
Gran Tursimo (Polyphony Digital is an in-house Sony studio)
Omega Boost (Polyphony)
Parappa (Nana On-Sha is an in-house Sony studio)
Mojib/Vib Ribbon (Nana On-Sha)
Games listed by Sidez that weren't developed by Sony:
Hermie Hopperhead (Yukes)
Games listed by Sidez that I'm not sure about:
Gacharoku (no idea who developed it)
Hot Shots Golf 3 (I dunno is Clap Hanz is first or second party)
Gunners Heaven (I don't know what MediaVision's deal with Sony is either).
So, let's pretend all three games I don't know about are second or third party games. That's 8 (9 when Mojib drops) first party games to 4 not.
Shut the fuck up.
