I've never seen a real attempt at an AM2 gameorgaphy, only Yu Suzuki gameographies. I know there were AM2 game he didn't work on.
And yeah, I'm sure there where games R&D1 worked on in the arcade, especially System 16 and System E games. I'm pretty sure 90% of the super scalers were AM2 though.
AM2's site lists these games as "All games of AM2". They're the same games I listed in my initial post.

So is this merely a Suzuki history which chronicles his stuff before the actual team name of AM2 existed or does it include possible non-Suzuki games?
I think part of the problem here is that R&D1 no longer exists, and there are dozens of games for which no team claims credit. Like I said I know the division that became AM2 was formed in 1983, and I know Sega reorganized their teams in 1991, but I have no idea how they were organized before that except that there was an AM division and an R&D division and that one specialized mostly in arcade machines and the other in console. There may well have been a nother division focusing on hardware that made games as well for all we know.
It's kind of a bitch not being able to sort it all out. IT doesn't help that few of Sega's 80s arcade games had credt rolls.
Yeah, it's confusing as hell. I'm still trying to determine how Gremlin was absorbed into Sega but there's so little information. And then there's other stuff like Genesis Shadow Dancer credits thanking Team Shinobi, the name of the arcade team.

Neo: Team Shinobi may not have been it's own division, though, but just a team within the division. Like Sonic Team Hawaii.
Amusement vision used to be a part of AM2. When they were with them, they made Spikeout, Super GT, Daytona etc. Although I don;t think Yu Suzuki produced any of their games. Supposedly he had a hand in Daytona though. I could have sworn he was a part of Monaco GP and Super Monaco GP though.Quote:

Hit maker did make Tennis2k2. You probably thought VC had a part in it because it says Sega Sports.All Sega sports games have the Sega sports logo, even non VC developed ones.
Actually, Daytona and Super GT were made after AM4 had already split. Yu Suzuki got nothing but a "special thanks" in the credits. They said AM2 on them because AM4 was and AM2 offshoot, and Sega thought the AM2 name would help sell the games.Quote:
