That's not really fair. At least some of the animations, the soundtrack, cinemas and the last 5 or 6 hours are tremendous. The rest I could do without, though. But by no means is it an entirely vile game, and if you can follow all the references in the storyline I'd say it's more than worthwhile in the end. Xenosaga I had to tap out on, though. The battle system really is incredibly tiresome, and every Nietzche reference is nullified by some lame cutesy character or scene. I have no idea what they were thinking.Quote:

As for the thread - never played? I don't do that. But I do have 4 particularly bad offenders:
- Jet Set Radio Future - played two hours, some guy wanted me to follow him up some stairs, through three platforms (between the first and second, or second and third?), over a bus shelter, down another set of stairs - was it the one on the left, or the one on the right? Grind along three different railings and then a long jump onto a tiny rooftop. I've never been unmotivated so quickly in my life.
- Metroid Prime - What a cool game. I'll bet it gets even better after the first 8 hours.
- Zelda: Wind Waker - What a gorgeous game. I'll bet it gets even better once you to get to the second dungeon.
- Zelda: The Ocarina of Time - I preordered Wind Waker so I could own this game. In retrospect, it doesn't seem quite as pressing as it did at the time.
Anyway, look at the above four games, and you have my exact summer playlist once I get done with PSO.
