According to GMR, not only is Time Crisis 3 coming in the fall for PS2- but Crisis Zone is also on the way, just fashionably late like TC II had been.
I'd like to see Namco make a MGCon for CZ which would basically be styled similar to the arcade's gun, with or without the internal recoil. It'd feel a tad off using the regular GunCon 2.
Here's hoping Namco adds in an "Another Mission" for CZ, like they did with the Kantaris episode in TC for PS.
The game just won't be the same without the gun, and I doubt they'll put out a new one just for one game.
Even without the force feedback, this is great news. Sure it won't be quite the same but most of the fun will still be there.
Very good news. TC3 is tedious but i'm well up for a home version of Crisis Zone.
sounds cool. I thought the gameplay wasnt much fun as Time Crisis. I dont like the whole lifebar thing. Its more fun to just blast everything in site with precise 1 hit shots. IMO.
Still good news. I'm always up for a great lightgun game from Namco.
Thats great. I thought this game would be lost to the arcades. Alot seem to think this game requires the gun with recoil, and while that can improve the experience, it's not necessary at all imo. Good news, some people may not dig the machinegun aspect, but TC3 is right around the corner too. I miss light gun games(Good ones).
SWEET! Dude Crisis Zone ROCKS. I love all those light gun games but Crisis Zone was the one that never came out that I really really wanted, it's just SO damn fun to play and cool just destroying everything that I'm sure it'll still be a gas even without the vibrating gun.
Yeuhsss! I really like this game alot, sure the lack of feedback will indeed stink that does not matter a whole lot. I just love shooting everything and seeing it shatter into tiny screen filling bits! I love the TC series, and I love CZ a whole bunch. So count me in for home TC3 and CZ!
Excellent news. I hope Namco spends some time on puting some extras in CZ, and also improves the graphics a bit. I love Machine gun aspect of CZ, and use of Riot shield for cover was great too.
I havent played TC3, but I look forward that alot, even with all the bad feedback its getting.
Wow, this is awesome. I played TC3 recently & was totally underwhelmed. I was pissed that we were getting that & not Crisis Zone. This is a guaranteed must buy for me.

If there's no internal recoil equipped gun (ya never know... Namco is full of surprises), their development team should consider adding a volume setting for the player gunfire sound. That would compensate amply.
I'd still buy it and play it with the GunCon 2 if that's all it supported. The game is great in its own right.
Time Crisis 3 has been getting bad impressions? I thought the game rocked and the switching weapons thing added a whole lot. The grenade launcher kills bosses pretty easily and the shot gun and machine gun takes groups of enemies out easily though. Nothing a harder difficulty level wouldn't fix though.
If they make a gun just for crisis zone, then Sega better bring out LA machineguns and Gunblade NY. Heck bring out that deep sea game too! Gun games rock.
I would love that also, especially a compilation with both games in it. That deep sea game is The Ocean Hunter, on Sega's Model 3 board- a tough game, but a good one.Quote:

I wonder why sega never released it. It was one of their more popular light gun games. Super GT would have probably sold well too. Those two games had some sick graphics back in the model 3 days. A new lost world on XBOX would look insane.Quote:

Great news. Crisis Zone is a great stress reliever.
Damn Straight! Lost World was a damn fine light gun game, so much better than the HotD series, the Virtua Cops (1&2 at least) and confidential mission. If it were to come out, I'd buy it in an instant.Quote:

As for Crisis Zone, meh, I never could get into this. It just felt like a Time Crisis 2 mod to me. I also don't like light gun games were you just hold the tigger down, rather than constantly firing your gun. The only thing worse than that is not having to reload, like that Area51 Site 4 game.

well, it seems like PS2 is easily the best system for light gun games without question.
