But Street Fighter says 1987 on the title screen. Here I was thinking it was 16 years old this year.
They're celebrating SF2's 15th anniversary. not Street Fighter 1 :p
(I guess they're on a fiscal year, or something)

do the math. or better yet. go to the website...do you see SF1 on their homepage? (like I said, it's backwards, cuz their anniversary should be celebrated now...1988 to 2003 is 15 years) ;)

The difference between 1987 and 1988 could be that SF was copyrighted (or something) in 87 and actually RELEASED in 1988.
Just a stab in the dark; I have albums that are dated 2001 but weren't actually released until 2002.
