So is Magnified the new Delta?
I'll go with Final Fantasy, but thats the most obvious choice.

No, I am not the new Delta. I will say this politely once...please don't say that again. Thank You Very Much.Quote:

Tomb Raider. can't stand Tomb Raider...
After Tekken 2, they went to hell. Tekken Ball? What the hell was that.
Any of those damn Nickeoldeon games - they are fun to watch, terrible to play.
Mortal Kombat after the 1st one.
Ummm... I am sure I can think of more, but I will leave it at that for now.
just occurred to me that we had this thread awhile ago and it wasn't that great the first time.
Army Men
Tony Hawk (due to it spawning tons of cheap knock-offs)

Crash Bandicoot - man, talk about a series with so much potential that was just absolutely run into the ground. At one time, Crash was garnering comparisons to the likes of Mario and Sonic, now it's just another generic platformer franchise. It's a shame Naughty Dog let such a great series get so utterly diluted with so many unoriginal and formulaic sequels and spinoffs. With more careful management, it had the potential to be as legendary as Mario and Sonic. Now the series just needs to be euthenized for good.
Spyro - basically diddo as with Crash except series had less potential to be something special. The magic was gone after the 2nd one, everthing since then has been -inducing
Army Men - with 3DO dead and gone hopefully this series at long last gets put to rest. But I'm not holding my breath.
Mary Kate & Ashley - unless they do one where the two of them perform a striptease then indulge in some HLA, it needs to be retired.
Tomb Raider - with Angel of Darkness fast-becoming a Duke Nukem Forever-esque joke with it's endless delays. Seriously, when the thing wasn't even playable at E3 2002 and Eidos expected it out that November, I KNEW that wasn't going to happen. At the rate the development and bugtesting is going, it might not make THIS November either. Eidos shelved it for several years and tried reinventing the franchise. Hopefully when this one bombs Lady Lara will hang up her spelunking shoes for good.

So I guess you think the world would be better off without Doom or Street Fighter.Quote:

Well, no. I actually enjoyed some knock-offs of those. I have yet to enjoy a THPS knock-off.
The sequels are knockoff's...how? Each one added something important, more so than other SPORTS titles.Quote:
