Where's her eyebrows?
edit: I saw this on the news the other day, that's pretty fucked up. You know, your friends bashing the living shit out of you all for your paycheck.
I'd hit it.
The worst part is that it's not like they were high or fucked up or something. They planned this for a week.
They should get the death penalty. That is all.
*sigh*
And people ask why I want this world to burn.
Agreed.Quote:

*nods* There's definitely something wrong with a world in which this could happen. Some people... defy belief, really. The word 'evil' is a hard one to use, but to be so cold and callous as to do this...Quote:

When did I ever tout myself as anything other than a simple believer?
Just because I know more of the Bible than others that doesn't make me better than them.
Besides, how is saying I want this world to burn ignorant when it's going to happen in the near future anyway?
Killing people is always wrong. I'm a great believer in forgiveness, but I realise that's probably not very popular in a situation such as this.Quote:

But these people were just idiots to the Nth degree. No argument there.
This sort of thing always gets me... I can't argue with that, and at the same time I can't think of a punishment to fit the crime here. Life in prison would be too good for them.Quote:

I admit. Even for someone who is against the death penalty, often enough my gut reaction when I read something like this is "they deserve the same done to them. Have a boulder dropped on their faces." After recollecting my thoughts on the matter, I can't see why the state should sanction the practice of executing citizens, despite how heinous their crimes might be. Resolution with the tragedy for the victim's families should not require more death to arrive full circle.Quote:

I mean hell, religous folk have only been claiming the end of the world is coming for what, 2000 years, hell, they gotta get it right one of these times.
And what I mean to say, is just because a small percentage of the world is fucking insanse, is hardly reason enough for everyone to die...
A small percentage?:wtf:Quote:

Damn I love Philadelphia! I can't wait to go back this fall.
Well I dont support the death penalty, so I would much prefer that they just rot in a jail cell and get ass raped for the remainder of their existence. Then, a higher authority could exact whatever judgement on them that they earned, because there's nothing we can do on this Earth that is proper.
Personally, I'd rather be executed than spend the rest of my life in prison.Quote:

Not the worst killing story I ever heard...........in fact, it's kinda pathetic. $125 each? boy......these kids just are reveling in crazy stupidity. Jail is a fine sentence for them.
For crying out loud, would you fucking get laid already? Jesus will find that easier to forgive than you walking around letting your sexual frustration and anger masquerade as christian righteousness for the rest of your life. You've been at this for days. I support anyone's right to express their christian beliefs, but I don't care what you want to think, you're not doing that.Quote:

Anyway, this is a grisly murder, but the Manson family killing these guys were somewhat inspired by was far worse. A group of kids somewhere went nuts. It happens once a year.
I agree wholeheartedly - preferably by a 300-pound guy named Leroy with a handlebar mustache.Quote:

Not the worst murder I've heard of. The multitude of child kidnap/rape/murder cases are far worse. Hell, just thinking of John Walsh's kid getting kidnapped & decapitated is worse.
I think the Jamie Bulger case is pretty horrific:
On February 12, 1993 a small boy who was to turn three on March was
taken from a shopping mall in Liverpool by two 10 year old boys. Jamie
Bolger walked away from his mother for only a second and Jon Venables
took his hand and led him out of the mall with his friend Robert
Thompson. They took Jamie on a walk for over 2 and a half miles, along
the way stopping every now and again to torture the poor little boy
who was crying constantly for his mummy. Finally they stopped at a
railway track where they brutally kicked him and threw stones at him
and rubbed paint in his eyes and pushed batteries up his anus. They
then left his beaten small body on the tracks so a train could run him
over to hide the mess they had created. These two boys, even being boys understood what they did was wrong, hence trying to make it look like an accident. It was so bad that the police didn't want his mother to identify him.
This was a huge case in England, that I think anyone who was there in '93 would have heard about this. I have to say that was an extremely memorable murder. :wtf:

Them being kids or not, I still say they should burn. They knew what they were doing, planning it for a whole week. I think that if you deny the right to live to someone, you should be denied as well. Especially in such a brutal and inhuman manner. All for $125? I hope those kids get beat to death in jail.
Take a chapter from the Dark Ages...
Torture.
They should really propose that as a viable alternative to the death penalty. I'll praise the congressmen who will vouch to get it passed.
Eye for an eye. That's a good one, too.

Punishment given out in the US is such bullshit.
We'll put you up in a heated/air conditioned cell, give you 3 good meals a day, let you have excercise, maybe TV.
Fuck that shit. If you're proven guilty, you should get solitary. Mandatory. Why do you need enough nutrition to get fat? Why not leave them slightly malnourished? See how much fun it is when they get osteoperosis, low vitamin levels, and other things.
Why can't they spend 2 hours a day getting 6 inch 18 guage needles inserted into they abdomens?
Set them on fire and then put it out with boiling water. It worked in the middle ages, it would work now.

Who told you this line of bullshit? Heated/air conditioned cells?!?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! You freeze to death in the winter time and boil like a damned lobster in the summer time. You sleep on "beds" that may as well be made of concrete all the while knowing the guards couldn't give a fuck if you live or die. Got the flu? Stay in your cell till you're over it. Coughing up blood? Tough shit. Deal with it. Feel like you're about to go completely insane from claustrophobic confinement? Too bad. Don't like it? Don't come to jail.
Human suffering isn't a game you fucktard.Quote:

Howabout we catapult them onto brick walls. And put it on TV. And have Budweiser sponsor it.
Maybe we can use that money to balance the fucking budget.
Or have them beheaded on top of a small hill, and have at the bottom of the hill 5 numbered holes, and base a lottery on it.
Yeah I worded it all wrong but who cares.

Maximum security prison (where violent offenders generally get sent) isn't the resort you've been led to believe. Unless your idea of a resort is getting beaten, raped, and doing hard labor. Go read about the tent prisons in Arizona, for instance.
There are plenty of prisons that are fairly decent places, but they are minimum security for non-violent offenders and lesser crimes. And if you seriously think tax cheats should be tortured and locked in solitary, then there's something wrong with you.
That's very true.
So set them on fire, put it out with boiling water, then throw their ass in prison for the rest of their lives. The end.
*walk back in now that he's had time to cool off*
I'm not retracting the sentiment expressed in my previous post, but I am apologizing for vitriolic way it came out. All this talk about prison and punishment hit WAAAAY too close to home and it angers me when clueless idiots say things that make light of real human suffering. Prisoners are people who, for whatever reason, have made EXTREMELY poor choices that victimize others, but they are still human beings.
They suffer enough being locked away like animals. They don't need evil, sadistic, fucktards trying to take away what little comfort they are able to find between crying themselves to sleep at night having to always having to watch their back for fear of having a bonecrusher (read REALLY big F'n knife) stuck in it or a guard who has it out for them.
Ok...set them on fire on put it out with cold water then. That's as good as it's gonna get.
Lemme check my day planner. I'm sure I had "Cataclysmic Apocalypse" marked somewhere.......uhhhhh......crap! Lemme get back to you.:sweat:Quote:

I say we bring back stoning. Let 'em get crushed over the next few days under that weight; it's plenty of time to recollect, panic, implement fear, and then have them die.
Have you ever heard of that little document called the Constitution? There are even a couple of amendments for the thing. Apparently, it assures us freedom, the right to say whatever we want, and protection against cruel and unusual punishment, among other rights. Go back to playing Panzer Dragoon Lite for Stoners you fucking tool.Quote:

I'm a fan of Hammurabi's code myself. Tyler, the murderers/rapists of the world, and therefore of the prison system, have no right to even think of any treatment they receive as cruel and unusual punishment.
I'm pretty glad now that I went to PA to meet a chick off the net and actually lived.
Life with 0 chance of parole if I was on the jury.
"They don't need evil, sadistic, fucktards trying to take away "
Uh...but those words describe them as well.
All I can say is if someone harmed my wittel kitty....they'd be off the face of this earth.
And I'll say this much, someone kills anyone in my family, and I'll hunt them down and kill them slowly.
A form of vengeance or a form of indulgence?
Seriously, if somebody is to be locked away for life, there is almost no light at the end of the tunnel for them except for what they open up for themselves. Anything more seems excessive and empty. Keep the blood on the hands of the criminal as opposed to the hands of the criminal and the state.
"there is almost no light at the end of the tunnel for them except for what they open up for themselves"
And what right do they have to do that? They closed that promising tunnel for someone else.
You are right. But giving a person the remainder of his life to either find personal or spiritual redemption should be a basic, irrevokable right, despite the fact that they may have cut that very same right short for someone else. But then again, it falls into the eye-for-an-eye debate category.Quote:

As far as punishment goes I say throw them on an island, surrounded by mines, with a few thousand other criminally insane muderers left to fend for themselves. Once a day air drop a crate of food - only enough to feed 2/3 of the island now - onto a random spot on the island and let them battle it out.
We could sell this stuff on PPV. I'd watch.
Overgeneralize much there Bob? Certainly those words describe a small handful of psychotic nutcases, but they are not the norm. Most people who are locked away are decent folk who just got their mind twisted backward. If you're going to say all criminals are evil then you'd better say all black people are lazy, watermelon eating niggers as well. It's the same thing. A statement of complete ignorance.Quote:

You think the % of blacks that are lazy and eat watermelons = the % of 25-to-lifers that are "DECENT FOLK"? oh my god. You're an idiot.
Have you ever fucking READ the Code of Hammurabi? Obviously not, or you wouldn't be posting such idiotic crap. Death is the punishment for practically every crime, including petty theft. People are thrown into a river to test their innocence. There's all kinds of slavery justification. Don't be such a tool.Quote:

Here's the Jeremy-Approved Hammurabi System of River Testing for Innocence:
"If any one bring an accusation against a man, and the accused go to the river and leap into the river, if he sink in the river his accuser shall take possession of his house. But if the river prove that the accused is not guilty, and he escape unhurt, then he who had brought the accusation shall be put to death, while he who leaped into the river shall take possession of the house that had belonged to his accuser.
Oh shit, interesting.
This is child's play..."What is this world coming to" and so forth is nonsense...half of the murders 3000 years ago would make people today cry.
Even just an example (although from probably the most evil people ever), the Assyrians would pick people at random out of a crowd from people they just conquered to make the example of not to screw with them.
Cutting from ear to ear on the back of the head, they would peel the skin up over the skull, make two more slits on the shoulders and proceed to take the entire skin off, turn it rightside out and hang it up to show ppl who not to screw with. All of this while the person was alive when they started to remove their skin.
The most famous picture of Vlad depicts him eating his dinner on a grassy hill surrounded by a forest of impaled bodies.
Most of Vlad's victims were killed by impalement. When killing large numbers of peasants, he would drive them in herds over cliffsides onto beds of spikes below.
can you imagine? You're impaled. It hurts and then you see the guy who ordered it eating dinner with a smirk?
SoK, relax, it's been years since I even read through the damn thing.
Messed up kids, man.
Life, no parole, solitary confinement. If it makes anyone who would rather them dead feel better, odds are a few will smash their heads against the wall repeatedly until death before they die naturally.
No, I've done hard time and am speaking from personal experience you jackass. Now STFU!!Quote:

It's things like this that continue to make me ever-conflicted on my feelings about the death penalty. But if I lifetime without parole behind bars of a maximum security prison and the treatment their sure to receive from fellow inmates could also work.
Seriously, what would torturing/brutally murdering these kids accomplish? Its not their fault they're crazy. The death penalty should be a means of removing a person from existance for their own wellbeing as well as the wellbeing of others, and not a form of punishment.
edit: just clearing up my wording...
That story wasn't even that fucked up to start with.
Some kids killed one of their friends. Shit like this happens all the time.

This is the part that pisses me off the most. "When are we going home?"...?!? It's like they can't comprehend the gravity of what they had done. They honestly don't give a shit that they brutally crushed and hacked a friend to death. They all should be slowly, slowly lowered into a vat of acid.Quote:
The detective said the alleged perpetrators, the three who were arrested and charged with murder on Tuesday, appeared to express little remorse during their interrogation at police headquarters, asking indifferently, "When are we going home?"
I've done reports on prison conditions, and 7s is right on the money there. It's no picnic. The prison on that show Oz is a joke compared to the real thing.Quote:

As for how long, I was able cut what could've easily been a ten year sentence or more down to six years by not being an idiot and just did what I was told.
As for what I did, that's personal info I've got no interest in sharing.
