After being the victim of yet another virus, I'd like to know what is the best anti-virus software. I've used Norton before and have not had much success. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Here's the only one I could find- http://www.grisoft.com/html/us_index...4af989395b66b8
I know that there's also a virus scanning thing enabled via the web. Can't find the link though.
AVG is. And since Jeremy is everyone's bitch, he searched the internet for you and found the link. :)
Yea... get AVG. Its excellent and works great. Screw McAfee and Norton and their bloated crap. I've used AVG for a long time and it never failed me.
The online one is called housecall, just do a search for housecall.
Its made by PC Cillin and works excellent
you can go onto KazaaLite and see if you can find a Norton or something with a full version.
Norton/Symantec products tend to do weird crap to your system. Use AVG.
Besides, it's free -- no need to pirate.
I agree with all here - AVG = The Way To Be.
Yep. I've been using it for about a year, and it's caught 3 viruses that would have otherwise hurt my system. :)Quote:
