Ever since I saw Pyron in Darkstalkers, I always thought, "Boy, if I could just play as a big glowing ball and get rid of all that silly fighting, this would kick major ass!" Now, at long last, my dream is fulfilled. Thank you, random gimps.

WTF is that?
edit:A company named Phenixsoft has released a new arcade fighting game called Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2003, which apparently is an unlicensed hack of Playmore's King of Fighter 2001. The game is based on KOF2001, and offers a mix of fighters from KOF94 to KOF2001, such as the Brazil sports team; and stages ripped from the KOF and Street Fighter Alpha series, and the final boss is a mini-planet named Ignis....
:wtf: is this like form Dimps or whatever those fag doing the "Seven Samurai" game call themselves.
Oh. Still though, :wtf:Quote:

Well, that's one of the most, um, interesting games I've seen in a while.
How the heck could a company get away with creating an unlicensed hack of KOF 2001 and selling it as a commercial release without attracting Playmore's attention and inevitable wrath? This sounds like an April Fool's Day joke hitting one at the wrong time of the year...I wouldn't be surprised if those "screenshots" came from a customised version of MUGEN running through a TV via a video capture card's output, or were just "l33t" Photoshop efforts.
EDIT: The "new" colour edit for Iori, featured in those screenshots, is identical to the colour palette used by a version of Iori available for MUGEN...hmmm...coincidence?
