Five years. Lord, where does the time go...?
I've watched TNL since its inception. I was a member of Playstation Interactive back during TNL's rise. I saw TNL flounder, rise, and eventually surpass PSi. Of course, PSi eventually died, haggard and colder than Opa-Opa's bed on a Saturday night, and TNL remained. Amazing reversal of fortune, when you consider how different circumstances were 4.5 years ago or so.
Five years also gave birth to a lot of Net drama, comedy hijinks and other shenanigans. The stories I could tell...but I won't because this is a celebration thread, not a comedy roast. Though I certianly wouldn't mind roasting a few people from TNL past... :P
Anyway, TNL, Bahn and co. past and present have been rivals, friends, enemies, and everything in between to me these past 5 years. Staying in business for 5 years is something really commendable in something as volatile as videogaming, and I have nothing but respect for the site and its upholders.
Let the legacy continue. We shall soon see where it leads from here.
*raises his beer* Cheers, fuckers. :P
TNL is a great website and community. Thanks to Nick, Bahn, the staff, and everyone else who makes it one of my most visited websites.
Cheers and here's to the future. :)
Yay!
Oh, I know that. But you were the one who made the thread, And is ready to accept my kudos. But, I will extend my congrats to everyone who has giving somethign to the site (So basically everyone)!\Quote:

5 years? This has been going on since '98? Wow, that's ancient in online years.
*raises a Moxie in toast to TNL*
*wonders how many people know what Moxie is*

but grape punch? That stuff tastes like cough syrup.
*grabs a Hawaiian Punch*
Yum.
I only just started posting here, really.
Already I'm finding it a place like no other. From someone who's posted on message boards left right and centre, this has quickly become my favourite. It definitely has something special.
Here's to the future.
TNL doesn't have to last forever, just last until I'm 70 or so and dead. :)Quote:
