I use Mozilla Firebird. The Extensions are fantastic. I've only had a few problems with it. It seems to crash on certain websites, and whenever I try to download .RAR files, I often have to right-click save as to get it to download properly. If you get it I *highly* recommend using the Phoenity Neo theme. It's fantastic.

Basically, Mozilla supports everything that the official W3C spec supports. One of the goals of Mozilla is to be totally W3C spec compliant, and this has been a major effort of Mozilla's designers. This was not a goal of IE's coders.
If you go to a webpage that looks fine in Internet Explorer but goofy in Mozilla, thats because the web designer decided to code the site for IE rather than the proper standards. Microsoft, in an effort to basically seize control of the web (and lockout Netscape as a competitor, Netscape did the same thing with the <LAYER> tag) made their own set of rules that are against the standard. This fucks everything up, for sure, it certainly doesn't make the web better.
As for IE having a lot more features than Mozilla or Opera, excuse me, I just pissed my pants from laughing so hard. Does IE have tabbed browsing? No. Does IE let you set more than one page as your homepage? No. Does IE have type-ahead find? No. Does IE have built-in popup browsing? No. Is there a page of official upgrades like this one, which has things like a Calendar? No.
But does IE have a bug that doesn't let it draw PNG images correctly? Yes. Does IE have a bug that causes it to enter an endless loop when there is a picture with industry-standard XML info embedded in it (like, for example, the way such meaningless small programs like Photoshop 7 do it)? Yes, sure do. Does Mozilla have either of these features? No.

Just installed Phoenity Darkness, which I had a while ago. Seems real weird having it all black, but cool at the same time.
I would use it, but my Windows XP theme doesn't really go all that well with it.
diff: Are there any problem using any of the plugins from mozdev.org with Firebird?
I use the normal silver WinXP, so it's silver and black, not too bad.

I use Mozilla actually (Ill switch over to Firebird when it hits 1.0). I remember hearing about some bugs with themes and the like, but Im not sure about the plugins... considering that Firebird uses Gecko, I doubt it, but Im not totally sure.Quote:

Mozilla does support CSS and DOM/DHTML, you choad. And you werent referring specifically to Opera, because you said Opera and Netscape (oh, "Nutscrape")... and since Netscape 7.x is based on Mozilla, I think its a fair bet to say it does support CSS and DOM/DHTML.Quote:

And Mozilla DOES have more features, since tabbed browsing and a built-in pop-up browser are "features" last time I checked.
And whatever, call me a zealot, at least I knew what the fuck I was talking about when I posted in this thread. And just because you havent encountered those bugs doesn't mean that they don't exist... developers workaround the bugs, but its shitty to make developers work around bugs that you've known about for years (and MS has known about these for years). If you worked on webpages you would know about them.
