We can hope it's based on the new comics. I picked up the first 3 issues a while back it was was done really well. The last one I have ended with Megatron tring to turn the earth into a new Cybortron.

The report i read said they were going to stick to the first generation tv series. I think its about time, and i hope it goes well. I remember seeing a tiny movie online that had a yellow beetle transforming into a robot. about 3 seconds long though.

It'll be interesting to see how they'll approach this. I can only imagine they use a mix of CG and Animatronics for this since the Autobots/Decepticons are huge.

I wouldn't mind if they used Armada either since I like it alot.

As long as there are no annoying "hiphop" "artists" on the "soundtrack." Transformers != bling bling.
