For those who post/browse in the wee hours at TNL

How come your not sleeping?

It's 4:45 AM my time, and I have a horrible bout of insomnia, or whatever and I still have yet to fall asleep, sucks too cause I'm tired. There's about 20 of us browsing now, you guys have trouble sleeping too. Just curious? or is it daytime where you are. I thought I was the only one with odd sleep patterns, guess not.

My sleep schedule has been totally out of whack for a week or so. So now I just go to sleep at about 2 PM, and wake up at 6 or so.

I work third shift, so it's either this or GBA.

I hate sleeping.

Now that school is over, my sleep is usually sometime around 5AM-3PM.

Freaks. :)

I usually sleep from the late afternoon until midnight. I'm studying on my own for the bar exam, so I can set my own hours.

Sleep is for pussies.

3 AM for you is 1 AM for me. STFU.

Damn, I wish I could get by on an hour of sleep a night and be totally rested. There's so much I could be doing with those 7 hours a night I waste snoozing. Sleep is such an necessary evil...

Hmm, I never posted past 3:00 am, and when I do stay on late(usually Fri-Sat nights), I only browse through the posts. I wish I could go on with less sleep though, it was offer much more need free time :)

I always have a hard time sleeping because of multiple reasons (Can't get comfy, drank too much coke, something on my mind) but recently it's been that my friends without job/school keep pulling me into games of PSO and MotoGP 2 somewhere around 2am when Im about to go to sleep. Bleh.

Total night-owl, although I do try to call it a day at about 3AM. This is usually a one hour process though, and then I oversleep a bit the next day.

3:00am is around the time I pass out, but lately I've been staying up late doing homework and shit, because I'm too lazy to do it during the day.

I really need to clean up my sleeping habits. Today I went to sleep at 5am, woke up at 7:30am and went to class at 8.

Funny, my New Years resolution was to get my sleeping habits back on track.. well it's the middle of June and I'm still up around 4am.

My sleep habits are all over the map. I have incredible control over my sleeping. I can fall out at the slightest break in the action if I feel like it or I can stay awake, drug free (that includes caffeine and the rest of the legal stuff), for a couple days. I'm like a Navy Seal :)

Why just last night I played Guwange till practically the crack of dawn, sacked out and woke up again by 7am. I won't even feel something like that unless I do it a couple more nights in a row.

Since I work, I have to get in at around 2 a.m. so I can have enough sleep to wake up at 7 a.m. I read many forums, including this one, between 2 and 2:30 a.m. just to waste time. Sleep is nothing. I've alerady grown to 6'2", I do not want to grow anymore.

i stay up till late for a couple of nights, and then I sack out for a very long time. for instance, yesterday I woke up at 3pm. I went to bed at 9pm. woke up briefly at 3:30, went back to bed. woke up at 12pm. very odd. :D but I'm seriously a night owl. but I love sleep. it's a never ending problem. sleep? or stay up? hmm...

I work at home and I can keep whatever hours I want. So, sometimes I get into the habit of staying up all night and sometimes I don't. It just depends. Sometimes it's good - if I am being productive because at night there are no distractions. At other times it's just a rut (like lately! I need to do something about that).

Sometimes I am just not tired at night and I have always been a major insomniac.. so.. there you have it. :p

I've always been a night owl, even though my mom's gotten on me about it for years to change my habits (despite the fact studies have shown some people operate better at night by sleeping later and getting up later, I'm such a person).

Unfortunately, one of the classes I'm taking this semester is at 9:40 AM and was the only time it's available. This whole week I've never gotten more than 5.5 hours of sleep, if I'm REALLY lucky, before that class because I'm just not used to going to bed early, and it's a lot harder trying to adjust than I thought :(

Because, I am conducting a report on people like yourself that are also up. I still haven't got back my results though.. ;)

Seriously though, sometimes I can not sleep. Other times I choose not to sleep (usually when I have the day off, like I did this week for two days straight).

I am actually a night owl, despite the fact that I primarily work days.

Usually I hit the sack around 12:00-1 AM and get up about 7-8:00. Some nights I just don't tire, and then I stay up until around 3 AM.

One day my sleeping schedule got clusterfucked. I decided to lay down for a nap at 7PM intending to sleep for maybe an hour, but for some reason I did not wake up until early the next morning.

I love sleep. Nothing can match waking up from a perfect slumber. If only it were possible to attain that in 2 hours.

I don't sleep till my body gives out on me usually, so that means I'll sleep for 12 hours stay up for like 36. What time I'm up makes no difference to me.

I really wish I did not have to sleep ever. I try to stay awake as much as possiable. And then I go to sleep when I feel I have to, and then I sleep in and I hate that because I just wasted a whole bunch of hours. The only time I like sleep is when I have to get up to go to school or work, and then I wish I could sleep. Sleep is lame. I never dream anyways, and if I do I forget it after a few minutes of being awake.

My work schedule is very flexible (like, I can work pretty much whenever I want to), so I stay up till I can't stay up no more.

During school I would usually go to bed around 4am. Odds are we'd start partying around 10 and "end" around 2am. A good hour after that to soak in the effects and get tired. If I had work the next day I'd try to get in bed by 1am. Since school got out I've been going to bed around 3am. At school I could sleep till 2pm no problem but I hate getting up that late. Now I usually get up around 11. Once I get a job that will change. I usually get around 7 hours of sleep if I'm in a set schedule.

Yikes.. I don't think I'll make it to 3am tonight. I didn't go to sleep at all last night, then this morning we got a call offering free Grand Prix tix. So, we picked up the tickets, went out for brekkie, and then went to the Grand Prix to watch the qualifying in the dreary cold damp rain for 5 hours. We just got home... It was quite fun. *yawn*

I don't think I am going to make it to 3am again tonight. Rut over. ;)

I don't mind sleeping, but the fact is there are about 100 other things I'd rather do with my time.

People who say "I couldn't sleep last night, I just rolled around in bed for hours" really confuse me. Why in the hell would you go to bed unless you're sure you are going to go to sleep. I just stay up until I know I'll fall asleep the minute I hit the bed.

I've always been a night person. There's just something about being one of the few people awake while everyone else is sleeping that I like. Plus I love cheesy tv/movies/radio (Coast to Coast :) ) that you only get late night.

I spent the night watching Old School (Unrated, dvd), updating my LiveJournal (Sig > Journal) and constantly checking my XBL friends list to see if all of those assholes would stop playing PSO and play something else.

I had to close tonight at work, so it's not like I had anything else better to do :p
