All I can tell you is that I thought it was lousy. It rubbed me the wrong way... but like I said, to each his own. :)

I do wonder if the online review is partially different than the one on the show though. I'd check but I really don't care that much. :p

She looks pretty nice in person, on tv she doesn't look all that great.

Some conceptual things that need to be cleared up about this person:

1: She is eye candy for a cable TV channel focused on technology. Due to their lack of ability to gain ratings if they hired real geeks (outside of people like Leo Laporte), they must use attractive (read: photogenic) people that at least sort of know what they're talking about. Morgan fits this purpose.
2: She is nice eye candy.
3: Everything she says is a) from a cue card, b) based on her personal biases and c) probably tinted by at least some level of angst about being stuck on a show she probably has no control over - everyone knows the new Xplay sucks.
4: Megan's hotter.

Anyone who thinks Morgan's Ikaruga review sucked didn't see her Mobile Light Force 2 trainwreck. Still, I think any coverage is good coverage, as anyone genuinely interested in the genre would know better than to respect Morgan Webb's opinion, if it's even hers.

Morgan's cute, far less grating that Adam, and I'd still rather watch either of them than read Dave Halverson or GI.

I could bear watching Extended Play, at least Adam had some dignity. Most of the time when I'm watching XPlay I just wish the two of them would shut up and get to showing the game. Basically, it's not that Webb has made the show bad because she's a girl that doesn't care about games, it's that she and Adam have no chemistry. So basically you have an entire show with just the two of them acting obnoxious all the time and doing little else.

Well, since the whole show is designed to be obnoxious, they have accomplished their goal.

You realize she reads everything from a cue card? How about you bitch at the guy writing the script and playing Ikaruga for the show, instead of the medium, the girl just reading what she's PAID to do.

And she does own a Cube, so I'm sure she at least knew a bit about Ikaruga. But damn, Lobo speaks the truth.
