Futuristic Sports

There was an awesome soccer game for Neo Geo (early gen) starring cyborg athletes. I forget the name of it.

Oh, yeah. Soccer Brawl.

Basewars is fucking awesome, and is one of the four sports games I actually enjoy.

I loved battling with the floating robot. All you had to do was fly over, and jump up and down on your opponents head.

Not futuristic... but a very strange "Sports" game is Ninja Golf for 7800.... that's just plain weird.

I love Mutant League Football! Never played the Hockey, but Football was excellent.

Come off it, in the very manual for Wipeout it is described as an International sport that has taken the world by storm and now replaces wars or some such. QR is the same way.

I got the game for 15 as well, and found a really well rounded game. I like the variety in the teams, but the stadiums could use some work.
