I didn't even see the announcement til now. That really is a shame, he was always good company around here. Real sorry to see him go. I never knew he was so sick.
I'm about as stunned as everyone else.
:(
I didn't know him, but I feel sad just the same.
When something like this happens, it always puts things in perspective. (Virtual hugs go out to all TNL members)
I just learned this, like 6 days later. I knew he was sick, but I thought he had 3-4 years left at least.
Fuck, this really sucks. :(
As a regular of the GF_Tavern, Jigen (Clint Gorman), despite the fact that he had his illness, was someone who always seemed in good spirits to me. I didn't know him very well, but I knew him well enough that he had a great love of video games, especially Rez, and that he didn't want people to "act differently" because of his illness. For that matter, it wasn't until about 3 months of knowing him did he finally tell me about his ailment. These seem like small things, but because of his situation, it would have been easy and excusable for him to be angry at the world. He didn't come off like that at all, and to me, that's such an admirable quality now that I think more about it. Jigen didn't bother anybody and his presence in the room was always a welcome one. Clint Gorman will be remembered and missed.

Sounds like another friend I have who suffers from sicklycell anemia, he hides it from people cause he hates to think he would be treated differently. It's a sad world we live in...
Rest in peace, and watch over us from above.
damn, it really hurt reading that blog. just thinking about losing a loved one is painful enough.
my condolence goes out to his family and friends.
Wow. I didn't know him, but my heart goes out to his family and friends, and may he Rest in Peace :(. This is tragic, I feel soo saddened. I wish there was something I could do... :(
