Design 2 is more eye-catching than design 1.

I thought burgs idea of more "hardcore" was a good idea, so I propose these:

The first I don't like not because the initials aren't readily apparent, but because it's not very good graffiti.

Kidnemo's slogan is good, and I like the redesigned 2nd shirt. It's not great, but it's alrght. My problem with is that I've never been a big fan of the arrow logo.

The grafitii has potential. But something's missing.

I like the idea of the graffiti but the execution definately needs something more "readable." In design 2 I'm with everyone who said the controller shouldn't be there.

From Kidnemo's shirts, I would most assuredly buy the last, and I if I had some extra cash would grab the Madden one. It's just damn funny.

And here we go again with the idea of #2: agreed, and also agreed that the controller either should not be there, or it should be on the shoulder. But as Kenshin said that there will be no shoulder design, then I say no to the controller on the front... however, I definately am a big fan of shirt #2 :)

Shaddap... script font is absurd no matter the excuse, if it was 'rough' it would have been arial or times new roman. Script requires effort to specifically change to it.

Oh man, where to begin:

Official Shirt #1:

The colors are sweet, don't change that. Sl1p is right about the implied N in the logo, it defenitely doesn't have the desired effect that you wanted, it really does just look like "TL". I also do not like the graffitti theme. The whole urban vibe really doesn't go with the general feel of this community.

Official Shirt #2:

John's right about ditching the controller all together. It really throws off the balance of the design, there's too much weight off to the right.


I like the idea of the classic logo either centered or off to the side, both look good.


A few other notes:


- I would never wear a shirt in public that said "fuck" on it, or was self deprecating in anyway. So I'd toss out a bunch of those slogans right off the bat.

- I like the idea of using an in joke on the back, the stfu newbie pic url being the most clever of the bunch I've seen so far.

- I'm a fan of subtlety when it comes to wearing geeky things like this (The majority of my game shirts never get worn because of this), so it would be cool if it summed up what we're all about, but didn't blatently state that I'm a gamer.

Kidnemo's are nice... but why does each one have FUCK in it, you trying to give us a image of foul mouthed gamers here on TNL :lol:

I agree with everything you said - we're both on the same page I suppose. I quite dislike self-depricating stuff as well, I mean...I should think that many would not think "I drink alot of soda and the sunlight hurts my eyes" as a 'cool' thing to wear on a t-shirt. Good point about subtlety in "geeky wear" as well... Inside jokes are so much better for something like this.

Which design? These guys are flexible, since once a screen's made they can use it as needed. (A minimum order of 10 is required to make the initial screen.)

Anyways, get back to me once I've got the plans finalized. Maybe the always-moody Ms. Haskins wants a baby-t too :p

Anyway, I think the "hurts my eyes" slogan comes off as really dorky if it's real big, but it would look fine is a smaller, more subdued font.

Smaller is fine.

The graphics will come out REAL NICE since I'm submitting them in Illustrator format.
