Aurora's new job
Ok, so I start working at Apple soon, and I'm extremely excited! Woo! It's basically a technical support/customer service sort of job, helping people with minor issues, or telling them of the status of their repairs.
BUT, I'm still not quite feeling OSX completely. Sure, it's nice and wonderful and all that, but I'm still a novice. It's not as user-friendly as Apple boasts it to be.
Does anyone know of any really nice and thorough tutorials online? Or can someone guide me the way to the best method of hardcore learning this sucker? I need to get a better feel for it. I'm getting there a bit...but it's still so foreign. So, I'd like to just start from the beginning, and master it the "dummies" way. The retard way. Or something. A really sloooooow and basic tutorial meant for dumb Auroras.
Thanks :)

Many congrats, and welcome back, dude!
It's been odd without you around. Glad to see you decided to come out for food and water :)
I wish you much success with your new job.

wb man! but it's hard to take you seriously when your avatar is...well, a nipple :D

Yeah, I was thinking about changing it...
To a piece of skin on my left buttcheek :)
Oh, and thanks for the welcomes :)

 Glad to see you're back. Now get to posting wierd shit (with very little emphasis on the shit) in FC.

Can you get me a discount on a Mac laptop?

If you don't want to deal with command-line stuff it's pretty easy, I suggest poking around yourself and/or asking your fellow apple store nerdlings. Most of the books I've looked at are programming/unix crossover stuff so I don't think that will help you too much.
welcome back

In Austin, he probably works for Apple itself, not an Apple store. The best way to learn any OS, imo, is to go through and completely customize everything you can on it (themes, UI tweaks, transparencies, etc). By the time you've figured all that out, you'll be set. :D

OMG I thought you were dead!

How the hell did you get a customer service job if you don't know how to work on the OS?
