Yep. They're both Algonquin names, derived from their word for river.Quote:

Like heck we would. We've got enough of those. Canadians love warm weather stuff - Florida is currently our 11th province.Quote:

Seriously! I think there are more Québecois in Florida in the winter than there are here!
Stop stealing our culture!

Now, about that Cider and the Ale
Hrrrm ... I think you'd actually have to have a culture in order for us to steal it. ;)Quote:

IronPlant, ales I like include: Smithwicks, Harp, McEwans, Sleemans.
I'm not familiar with many Cider brands. I do know that Guinness + Cider = Black Velvet and that's yummy though. :)

*shudder*
Alright, you win this round!
When I say Cider I mean a more classical meaning of the word, and not Cider in the form its typically seen today. I'm talking about a hard/alcoholic Cider and not a slightly old apple juice sold often times around christmas. I'm not saying that's what you thought but I felt like clarifing for the sake of the baord.Quote:

And while I'm on that subject, I had some Cider last year with a Rhino on the bottle. Anyone know the name of that brand?
I was talking about hard Cider ... the kind sold in pubs not in cafés. :p
