why would anyone want to overhype a game these days? All it does is get people worked up, and then pissy because then game didn't live up to the unrealistic hype. Or you get the people who crap all over a game before its even out (or before a single screen is shown) as a preemptive to the 'hype machine.' Either way building interest for a game in 2003 is a lose-lose situation.
