I posted in the Haul thread that I won an auction for this Space Channel 5 statue:

Supposedly only 2000 were made - I don't know if that's true, but I do know I've never seen this anywhere else. So if you want to try and buy one from him, email him at JJAKSHSCRD@aol.com and make an offer. I haven't gotten them yet, but he has good feedback and what not.

Whoah that looks awesome. I never played the SC5 games but the character design is nifty. I would buy it but I have no space to put the thing.

Not contatcting him yet but could you update this thread when you get yours? I'd like a firsthand account of how cool/disappointing it is, then I can properly decide if it's worth my $20. Which I admit won't take a whole lot to get out of me if it's anything like as cool as that picture is. :)

I think I saw one of these at Tower Records a few years ago. If not, it looked really similar. I wanted to buy it, but it was $80.

Cool, even though I thought the first game was steaming pile of shit, I'd still buy that statue.

$20 is a steal.

"Joe" is selling them new in the box, apparently. At least he was in his auctions.

Pre-painted or...? I'm a a so-so modeler and would like to paint the resins I buy :). $20 is like... wow! But I have my heart set on this other resin (will cost me more than $20 by far!) so we'll see.

They have some excellent selection! Mostly game and anime babes :).

I'd be really surprised if this statue matches the quality of a good hand-painted job. But if you want Ulala, you don't have too many options. As far as I know this isn't available unpainted.

That's a great link, but I'm not much for painting. I just want cool VG related stuff for my shelves.

I received (one of) mine. I'm very happy with the design quality but both my stand and one of my Morolians arrived slightly broken. Still, it's nothing that can't be fixed or tolerated, and even damaged, I still feel like I got my money's worth.

How well did he pack them Burg? I'm afraid for my statue if yours arrived damaged. :sweat:

The box itself seemed to be pretty secure, but he didn't do much to back the box itself. The statue's pretty fragile, so I guess it's inevitable sometimes. I let him know...let's see what he'll do.

I'll pick one up, next pay check.

I had no idea the freakin' box was so big. He did a great packaging job though ( made a point to ask for that).

I love this statue. Excellent quality for just a ten spot. Came with a certificate of authenticity too.
