If I ever get one I wash my mouth out with Hydrogen Peroxide. That seems to help it heal faster.

This is nothing... I had one on my Uvula (Spelled right?) That little thing hanging on the back of your throat. I couldn't eat anything without great pain, and it felt like the Uvula was withering away I was afraid it was just going to disappear and not regenerate like gums.

On a side note at cub scouts a long time ago there was HOT apple cider (like beyond all words hot) and I was talking to a friend when I was pouring it (not noticing the steam) and then brought it up to my mouth to start chugging it (i was really thirsty) and my friend is like wtf are you doing and then I shrugged and drank a big gulp. I think my mouth died right there
I swear to God that i get these the size of a penny, and they last almost 2 weeks, maybe three... :(
