Straigth off this months PCGamer cover cd comes Monolith's demo for their upcoming action based on the Tron movie from 20 years ago. The Tron 2.0 demo features a Light Circle tutorial where you several AI controlled opponents in a 4 way duel in the Conscripts Duel Arena. After the tutorial you can get on the internet and battle it out online. The full Corrupted Sector map is included, playable over LAN or the net with up to 16 teams.

Screw this, I'm using Fileplanet. I have my ways.

I've downloaded it, but I think I'll need to get an accelorator like Geforce 4 to play it. I don't have any problems with memory or processor speed.

This runs suprisingly well, I wasn't expecting such a nice steady framerate (as opposed to Star Wars Galaxies). Unfortunately, the lag ruins any precision and skill the disc tossing would have, but it's still pretty damn fun. As for the lightcycles, they're cool and all but having so many excellent homebrew games that do the exact same thing kinda take away from it. It is well done and the speed control and powerups do give it a different kind of edge then most fanmades.

Now, who wants to play me in some disc-tossing?

If it isn't a complete and total slideshow on my machine, I'm there.
