Yeah, but that's assuming Sony makes those drives for PCs. If they don't, no one else can (since I believe they fully own the technology) -- so no PC drives. This means no piracy, unless someone can hack the PS3 in the same way the DC was hacked (via the serial coders cable or BBA) or through some other weakness.
