So how did you wind up here?

How did you wind up on this small speck of a forum on the near ifinite web of the internet? My story goes a way back. Several years ago I was feeling very upset over the loss of Gamefan magazine. On another forum I hung out at the time someone mentioned that ECM posted at the SHMUPS forum, so I began my quest to find him and learn the truth of what happened to Gamefan. When I finaly encountered him, he spoke of some type of new project. The short lived GameGO. It was from the GG forums that I eventualy wound up here.
So how about you?

A very nice sized chunk of us came over from Gamego. I think there might be a thread about this topic already, something like "How did you find TNL"?

I caught the link from Fighters.net, when it was still around.

People I know told me about the site (Korly, Chux, and 88mph)

I think Yoshi posted something on GameTZ's forums about GameGO, so I checked it out and eventually migrated over here.

i found an issue of gamego on a rack at EB a few months after it had folded. I recognized ECMs name and tracked down the website, which was at that point done but still steered people to these forums.
