I didnt see an official thread for it so I thought I would make one. Less than a week to go for it! Anyone else looking forward to it? I just watched some new videos over at gamespot for it. Looks and even sounds oh so damn good. They have the infamous lock-pick redo for a video too. Barry no longer sounds like a total ass. :D

Since they redid everything but didn't fix the controls...not me. Not at all.

I've been out of the loop for awile, so maybe someone knows the answer to my question, maybe not: How much of this game is new? I for one really like Resident Evil, and wouldn't mind getting the remake just for the updated graphics and chance to own the first one again. However, is there more to the remake than a few added scenes and better graphics that make it worth getting for someone who has allready played through the first one?
As far as I know there appears to be a LOT new. And some of the original items have been moved around. Sounds great.
About the controls. I like them. If it played perfect like Devil May Cry the game wouldnt be scary. Hell it would be easy. Devil May Cry was cool, but when playing it I was never worried about the enemies. As long as you can do a 180 in Res Evil I think the control work for it and are THE best way to do the survival horror type games.
From what I've heard, and this is by no means official, about 70% of the game is diffrent.
