F-Zero GX-AX

I like the tube track, too... go figure.

My F-Zero GX is using it's own memory card I bought super dirt cheap from some guy trading in stuff. I can't wait to finish my Ultimate Racing Vehicle to use in the arcades, with a 1-up mushroom on the back and Alex (or Ryan?) from RCR on the front, with his finger pointing straight up. Sweet.

I'll second that the tube level sucks.

Everything else is fine though. I like the 1st Diamond Cup level. Love the branching off into 3 tracks.

I like the tube level as well. Anyway, I think the last three tracks from Emerald Cup are my favorites. The casino track, the lightning track, and the last track are all amazing. I haven't played Diamond Cup too much though.

I disagree. I like Maximum Velocity, but I like GX alot more. To me there's no comparison really.

I'm all about Casino Palace. Really well made course. I also like Lightning (the red half pipe). Hard level but really wild.

On a widescreen tv, this game is :o

Heh, I don't have a widescreen TV, but I couldn't be left out of the fun. I set it to widescreen and then squash the screen vertically using my monitor's geometry settings untill the aspect ratio is correct. Home-made letterboxing. :)

This game is seriously kicking my ass... took me so long just to beat Samurai Goroh in story mode.

And I'm playing it on the parents 50 some odd inch widescreen TV in progressive scan mode and it's just unbelievable. It almosts get me dizzy at times, which just never happens. Too bad after the weekend's over it's back to the regular old tv heh.

Anyone notice the old school F-Zero remix when you're racing Goroh in story mode (assuming it's Red Canyon but I'm not sure)? I've yet to hear the Big Blue remix mentioned earlier on however. Slightly disappointed in the music dept., but I dig Captain Falcon's theme. Corny but I like it in the same way Sonic Adventure music is enjoyable (sans Knuckles stuff).

Time to go play a bit more.

I hate you all for talking about this game while I have to wait to get it.
