I can finally say this game is hard. I'm STILL playing Expert Sapphire and not getting 1st. Any hints to better racing?
Oh yeah, Arcade Infinity in So Cal has the cab too. So I don't think it's just a play-test situation these days.
the best advice for high-level grand prix races is to take out as many opponents as you can. by the way, the first sapphire race (big blue,) is possibly the hardest course in the game when played against the cpu, so don't feel too bad if you don't place well. just make up for it later.Quote:

I was gonna say the same. Don't worry so much about placing first... worry about placing well (in the top 10) and taking out your rivals (along with random people along the way). You'll muddle up the scores with all the zeroes you dish out that there's a great chance of you coming in first.
