I'm heading to the UK to go to school this fall, and I was wondering if someone can recommend a display for my games?
All of my systems are NTSC US and I would like to get something that can either be bought in the UK or brought with me overseas.
I have a Commodore (non-RGB) monitor that supports mono RCA jacks in Canada. I was wondering if it would be worth searching for an RGB Commodore monitor, and if the SCART cables here will work with that type of monitor?

There are NTSC to PAL converters that are pretty cheap, also remember you will need a voltage converter for everything as well.
I'm not sure if I understand what you mean about Commodore monitors and such but most of your consoles should display perfectly on TVs in the UK with SCART cables, which can be bought in the UK when you get there. But the most important thing is the power converter. Don't plug the NTSC consoles straight into the socket.
It's my understanding that most (all?) new tvs in the UK support both PAL and NTSC.Quote:

There are certain Commodore monitors that have RGB cable inputs, and I was wondering if the SCART cables sold in the UK would work on those types of RGB connections.Quote:

Anyway, yeah, as said above, the most important thing is the power supply. Our plugs aren't needlessly lethal, so you'll need a converter that you can pick up from any supermarket.
why use shitty NTSC RCA leads , our tv's are RGB!:) RGB scart leads can be bought for every console for next to nothing. Apart from the n64 that is
