My dad used to know John (?) Stamos, that guy from Full House. Back when they were young though; he even came close to beating him up because he was picking on his sister.
So I guess John Stamos is a jerk...or used to be.

My dad used to work for James Watson (who discovered the structure of DNA with Francis Crick). I ate dinner at his house a few times when I was really young. That was obviously long after he became famous, though. I also met a couple other Nobel Laureates, Harold Varmus and Mike Bishop, when I was young although I don't remember them.
I knew Gershon Mosely when he was coming up in the skateboarding world. He used to live at my house. I could probably list some other professional skaters and maybe even a snowboarder or two but all those bastards were truly annoying aside from Gershon. We're a bit out of touch lately but we seem to bump into each other most every time he's in Seattle.
I too know lots and lots of folks playing music in bands but what with my aversion to schlock popular music and all, I also doubt that any of these people qualify as "famous".

Yup. Down in the schoolyard, I saw him every now and then. His parents still live in VG.
I remember some kid in highschool telling me about a punk band of his called Revelle, don't know if it's the same band though.
Also according to Rachel her father grew up with the guy that plays Dr. Romano on E.R. I liked that guy better when he was in FAME.
Ohh and my mother met Roger Clemens, she was working at the bank that apprioved his loan for a house. She even has a picture of her and him together.
My old friend and nextdoor neighbor plays in the NHL (Avalanche, I believe), where he does lots of fighting.
Checked: looks like he got traded to San Jose last month.
My dad taught Tom Bertino when he was in high school. Tom is a bigshot visual effects guy at ILM.
I've eaten Taco Bell with Kieron Dwyer and Rick Remender....that's about it.
I went to high school with Jessica Simpson.
/me references pick below
Yes, THAT Jessica Simpson. She was a grade below me at J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson, TX. I was a member of the newspaper staff at the time before she was "discovered" and started doing albums.
I remember distinctly I was a member of the Pony Express, our school newspaper at the time, and I went with another staff member to do an interview with her. After we got there and the photographer got the set setup and we prepared to commence the inverview, the pole holding up the umbrella with the backlight on it broke. So, one of us would have to hold up the umbrella for the photographer snapping pictures while the other did the interview. The question was which would do which?
The solution was simple. We flipped a coin...and I lost
So my teammate did the interview with her and punched up the story while I stood there holding up the backlight for the photographer snapping away pictures. Pretty funny actually. After we finished I told Jessy she had a beautiful voice, and she thanked me.
I distinctly remember the article he wrote about her saying something to the effect of "great things were in store for her" and one day he hoped "everyone would hear Jessica's beautiful voice". I guess he ended up being right about that. :D
My mum grew up with all of inxs, and was close friends with the drummer. Thats about it for me.
