I suppose the government is within its rights to set a limit on how late the cafes can operate, but messing with how late people can play from their own homes steps over the line.
And yes, I realize this isn't America we're talking about, but I believe in liberty for all humanity.
Then you should start worrying about war crimes & starving children, not how late people can play online.

This is probably being done to prevent anymore of those deaths that occured from folks who were too messed up to quit playing games online.

In no way would the government be wrong to set operating hour limits on cybercafes. But this is a bit too controlling.
What next- compulsory video cameras at the computers to monitor whether or not they're being used for games after hours? :wtf:
Admittedly, this is not the most important issue in Thailand. It's pretty bad to not be able to criticize the government there without punishment.
Maybe now those Thai hookers will get some use!
Let's all just be glad that we live in countries where we don't have to worry about shit like this. I bitch alot about the government in this country (just ask Korly) but things like this always put it in perspective.
