Super Pipeline
Mario wasn't the only character to make a plumbing occupation debut in 1983. The computer game series Super Pipeline began then as well.

The object of Super Pipeline is to make sure the water safely passes through the pipes to the barrel by shooting away insects and other nuissances. You controlled two characters simultaneously, one to shoot and the other to fix leaks. I had a lot of fun with this game back in the day. The sequel was mostly more of the same but not as good.
Any Super Pipeline fans here?

Looks interesting. How did the controls work?
And I take it this is for arcade, right?

The controls are simple. You control the big guy and the little one follows behind you. If you make the little one walk over a leak, he will stop there and fix it.
It's not an arcade game but it feels like one. This screen is from the Commodore 64 version. I don't think there were any ports of it but its sequel was ported to various computers(Amstrad, Spectrum).
