The Official E3 Attendance Thread - Updated!

Friday night would be good, since a) not everyone will be in on Monday, and b) there will be more to talk about once we have seen the show. The strikes against it: a) bars and restaurants in L.A. might be very crowded, b) some people might have left already, and c) if you meet someone you'd like to hang out with some more, E3 will already be over.

I think Werewolf is leaving early, so maybe Thursday would be best, but then people might not stay as late as they normally would. I don't want a rushed gathering.

Let's pin down a date. I have no preference. I am flying in Monday morning, and leaving Saturday morning.

Like I discussed with you, I think going out to dinner on Wednesday night would be the best bet. We'll all be in town, we all have to eat, and we can find a casual place nearby that won't be as packed as it might be later in the week.

Not too early, my plane leaves at 11:45pm so I have plenty of time Friday before I have to go ;)

But any of the 3 nights is ok with me, so what ever works best for everyone is cool :)

Those of us over 21 can meet for drinks on Monday, after the Xbox event. Wednesday is good for dinner.

Wednesday works for me too...seems like that or Thursday will work best.

All I know is that someone needs to bring a camera (or two) :D

I am bringing a digital camera. That way, I can stay out of all the pictures, since I will be taking them.

I will buy a new Memory Stick before then, since I only have the 16MB one now.

Between the Memory Stick, Los Angeles, my dad's annual visit, Spider-Man, Resident Evil, my new employer not paying for my week off, and all the usual expenses, this will be the most expensive month I have ever had. Time to mow some lawns.

If I didn't receive that nice, fat check from TNL every week, I might have gone bankrupt.

My first post. Yay!

Yes, I'll be attending E3. This will be my 4th time. Los Angeles contrasts quite dramatically from these pastoral fields of South Carolina, but I have fun while I'm there. Usually, I spend 80% of my time in the Sega booth. Last year, this was a difficult thing to do, what with the exclusivity of said booth, but I got in, with effort, and then the beer flowed, and many games were played. However, I am there for legitimate reasons, and so I find myself having to resentfully visit all of the other booths the other 20% of the time in order to fulfill my journalistic duties. :)

welcome to the board Crafter! If you've been lurking, then you'll no doubt agree when I say this place is the absolute best collection of gamers on any board.

I've been lurking for a LONG time, through the board's many iterations. I do agree that this board is the best. I visit all the others, but tend to frequent this one the most. I look forward to taking part in a lot of discussion. Thanks for the warm welcome.
