Are you a good person?

This is a hard question that I'm sure alot of people have at least given thought to at one point in their life. I don't really want to have this turn into a religious entanglement, but instead just a personal reflection.

I think everyone makes mistakes, saying and doing things that they're not proud of after the fact. Is it rising above these problems that makes us better? Maybe attempting to hold others in as high of a regard as we do ourselves? There're many more things I personally think about related to this. It's hard to fall asleep at night sometimes reflecting back on what I've done that day.

Anyway, I don't want this to get too melodramatic or convoluted. Do you think you're a good person, a bad person, somewhere in the middle? Any particular reasons why?

i don't know if i'd say i'm a good person, but i try to do good things whenever i can. however, i am human, so mistakes are inevitable and i end up doing bad things, sometimes intentional, sometimes not.

I think I'm a good person, I do the best I to help others when I'm able to, and wish nothing but the best to folks.

I have made plenty of mistakes - and always tried to learn from them - but I don't think that has anything to do with being proud/not proud. The reason why is that I always have nothing but the best of intentions. I always do what I feel the right thing is. So, yeh, I make mistakes but I have no regrets and I have not done anything I am not proud of. Sometimes I am embarassed about how stupid (!) or naïve I was about things.. but never not proud.

If that makes me a good person then cheers. It's not really for me to say, but that's what I try to be. :)

That’s according to your definition of good. I don't actually kill people myself, but I do wish all forms of vile death upon a good portion of the population.

something to the effect "no one ever REALLY, thinks they are evil" And how if you do so, is to imbrace insanity.
