Basically:

Talk to a Recruiter.
Go down to MEPS (Military Entry Processing Station) and take the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery).
That tells you what jobs you qualify for.
Pick the job.
Go back to Meps, take the physical.
Pass that, and sign.

Talk to Fighter X, he's in the AF.

No. I'm a good father because I make a concious effort to be, but I wouldn't say I'm a "good person" at all.
