KoF '98 or 2002. Good luck finding 2002 for less than 100, though. :)Quote:

Of what you listed, Shock Troopers, Blazing Star, and Aero Fighters 2 are all good.
When you're ready, be sure to check out Neo DriftOut and Ninja Commando.

And here I thought this thread was going to be about Matt VanStone
Aero Fighters anything - Passable.
Blazing Star - Sure.
KoF '98. Mai's packed with moves.
Skip Shock Troopers 2 in favor of the original.
Ninja Master - Not sure.
Metal Slug X - Yes. Dump MS2 for this. It's on par / above MS3, even.
Last Blade 2 - Sure.
Please tell me you already own Pulstar. It is so much better than Blazing Star.
Last Blade 2 and Blazing Star. Cant go wrong with them.
Pulstar is a love/hate thing. I really don't like it much because of the rather heavy memorization parts in it, but if you like the R-type games you'll certainly appreciate Pulstar.
yeah right.:bs:Quote:

KoF 97-98 is the way to go with that series.
I have to agree. Then again, I'm a huge fan of "checkpoint" style respawing. Both are great games, but I give Pulstar the nod.Quote:
