Angelina Jolie returns as superheroine Lara Croft. This time, the archaeologist explorer seeks the mythical Pandora's Box in an underwater lair. She retrieves the object only to have it stolen away by Chinese crime boss Chen Lo, who's in league with a villain named Reiss. He has designs to use the box as a doomsday...
I'm not fan of Lara Croft, but the movie's action scenes look good enouph to see.
While I still hate the original, I quite interested in the sequel. Action scenes look to be much more entertaining, with Lara actually having dual fisted gunfights and some nice looking swordfighting. and Jan DeBond is an experienced action director. Plus it visits HK, with HK actor Simon Yam playing one of the villians.
I will definately be seeing it this Saturday.
Angelina Jolie is pretty hot, but I wasn't too keen on the first, and don't really like the Tomb Raider videogames, with that said I still may see it.
Amazingly nonsensical and very predictable; aside from Angelina there's really no redeeming qualities here. The first was definately a better movie with better action scenes.
If anyone wants me to elaborate I will, but if you must: download.
It's been getting a lot of horribly average reviews. A lot of people are saying it's boring...that's enough for me to pass on seeing it in the theatre. I hated the first and was hoping this was going to turn out well. What's up next? There's gotta be something between now and Freddy vs. Jason.

I will still go and see TR2 tomorrow. I dont think that action scenes look bad, and from what I saw in the trailer, is already better than anything that original had to offere, and that was a horrible movie.

This movie looks terrible. I seriously would rather see Seabiscuit.
How is TR2 more Terrible than Seabiscuit?? Its a friggin horse movie !!!
