I also fought Daredevil Akira and Phoenix Napoeleon. Those are the only two unique ranks, as far as I know.Quote:

Ooops, read Korly's post. I'mma try that.
Nope, tried Korly's method, and that didn't work either. I need a virtual barber....
I think Korly's method only works if you're playing against another registered character, not just one you haven't played in quest yet (in other words, your victim has to be taking recorded losses for the perfects).Quote:

Things about VF that bother me:
I hate playing against Jacky and Lion. Sarah and Lei Fei annoy the hell out of me as well, but I can at least see what it is that I should be doing (or at least where and when). Jacky and Lion, on the other hand, are a source of unending pain when they go full offensive. I can't evade their moves, the breaks in combos aren't long enough to throw, and Lion is such a pure mid/low hit fest it's hard to consistantly block. I hate them.
Hit boxes. Is it honestly that fucking hard to match up hit boxes with character models? Every fighting game has this problem, but I still don't know why, especially in this day and age.
Comboing people bouncing an inch off the ground with a kick obviously aimed at someone's chin. They seriously need to limit ground combos to moves that actually hit low, instead of almost everything.
I deal, but man do these things get on my nerves sometimes.
The collision detection on the whole is off in the game. I've had shots miss by a mile that won me a match, and I've also had some odd ring out situations.
That has always been one of my biggest knocks against the VF series. The combos for most characters are just plain ugly, as the latter half of most combos involves scraping people along the floor with stuff that clearly shouldn't. I play Sarah mostly, and it's a huge part of her game.Quote:

Sometimes I can evade a move, and it will count because I timed it right, but the path of the attack still clearly hit me...sort-of defeats the purpose of using lateral attacks.
Has anyone noticed this anomoly? I've noticed it twice, once last night when I was playing as Goh, and just right now playing as Lion. The 2nd Dan Jeffrey (Bigfoot) has a skull mask, camo, and a fish biting his butt. During the two bouts mentioned, there's this red dot on the screen that floats about everywhere. Anyone else seen this red dot?
