I enjoyed the movie. It was fun and pretty stupid, but that is what I expected so it delivered. I wasnt looking for suspense, and I dont think the film makers where trying for it either. And they definetly used the set budget for the fx, which are seemless.
I'm seriously surprised that some of you actually liked this.

Yes, He did his time in jail for that, and paid for his crime. Hating his movies because of his conviction is stupid.
Poweder is a good movie though. Or at least Lance Henriksen is good in it. Another good Salva's film is Nature of the Beast, with Henriksen and Eric Roberts.
This movie was awful. Absolutely fucking awful. By far the WORST movie I have seen this summer. Like Korly posted, read the aintitcool article and tell me you can argue with ANY of the points the author makes. What a waste of $8...

Saw it last night. It was pretty decent. That part where he grew the new head was pretty cool. I still have to see the original, which my friends insist is better.
Still, I don't understand how the Creeper can rip his own head off and be okay, but flying through the windshield cripples him. :rolleyes:
Why the old guy didn't chop the Creeper up and seal the pieces in mason jars and scatter them all over the place or burning it's body to ashes instead of hanging him in his barn is beyond me. Dumb bastard.

It made a pretty good money over the weekend. About 18 million I think. Pretty much made its budget.
