Chaos! Fighting games that seriously have let you down...

Although I am perfectly aware there's an official thread dedicated to this the upcoming SNK v. Capcom: Chaos game, the subject at hands is sure to span into a discussion about other fighting games that we've highly anticipated only to discover they were crappy.

SRK's inkblot gave his personal insight on the current build. Seems to me that everyone here and abroad have been seriously let down.

Hm, I recall this happening with Super SF2 and Capcom v. SNK as well.

by far the biggest disapointments ever in the fighting game genre. i don't think these will ever be topped.

Match of the Millenium shits all over these 2 games in every single last way.

i'd also like to add that i find it almost depressing that Match of the Millenium has a better character roster than CvS, CvS 2, and SvC.

Kakuto Chojin - not as atrocious as most reviews made it out to be, but definitely a big disappointment.

Innuyasha i was hoping for something just a little bit deeper gameplay wise thought each character would have had at least different controller inputs for their moves

I actually agree with Lucas!

Capcom vs Snk 1 and 2 were letdowns after playing the NGPC game. I do still enjoy them but MM had what I wanted. My fav fighters, remixed backgrounds and music.

KOF 2000

I was a KOF freak till I bought this one (after an admittedly long hiatus from playing the series). I can't say it's the game's fault, but I played for about 27 minutes and never touched it again.

KOF2k2 - I'd almost rather play World Heroes than this. It just feels so very empty and lifeless.

I think I'll love Chaos though from everything I've heard about it. The things some people find negative are things I don't really care about. I'm not a high level player and don't want to be.
