SVC - I play this everyday now and each time I see something new that's wrong with it. Today was especially bad as the codes for the boss characters have been released.

I must be the only person on the planet that likes VF3's dodge button.
No. I am sure my friends (nercm included) like it too.
SF:A3 (DC port) What happen Capcom?
DOA: All of'em
3-D Fighters (with the exception of Soul Caliber): Cant get into any I am refering to 3-D playing fields, not like Project Jusice and SF:EX.
Capcom vs. SNK - more a victim of my insanely high expectations than it really being a bad game. I still played it a ton, but it in no way compares to Alpha 2/3 or KoF 97-98. In a perfect world it would have combined those games seamlessly.
King of Fighters '99 - Not that you can really live up to '98, and it was an okay game with some cool new characters, but unfortunately this is where the series really jumped the shark. It was clear from here on they'd run out of good ideas and were just pumping out more to keep the lights on.
Last Blade 2 - great character and audio design, really lightweight feel and me-too combo systems. Not bad at all, but given the competition on the two systems it appears on, not much reason to play it either.
Samurai Shodown 3 - Samurai Shodown II may have been eclipsed in terms of complexity, but it's still one of the most striking games ever made. 3 changed the art style for the worse, but far more criminally it busted the gameplay. II was the smoothest thing going outside SF2, III took things back to the FF Special stone age of haphazard move inputs. Fortunately I felt IV redeemed things somewhat in terms of gameplay and personality.
Tekken 3 - the first two Tekken games were very well made for their time, back in the days of few expectations for 3D fighters. Unfortunately, after 3 installments this engine was in need of a major overhaul, something Namco seemed afraid of doing. The game was a success, but this was where I first really became aware of the game's creaky input buffers, response time and the drawbacks of overly canned animations.
I liked it as well. It was alot more user friendly than the 0.2 second dodge input VF4 has.Quote:

Chestoh!
Err dodging is easy in VF4. Once you click with it it becomes second nature, a bit like parrying in SF3. Don't be so lazy and defeatist.
