Sometimes it depends on whether or not there is competition in the immediate area. There are two EB's in the one city near me, one has a GameStop in the same mall, the other doesnt. The One with the GS has nearly all thier games on average five bucks cheaper than the one without.

Oh, and my roommate got it, but I resisted stealing it from him for I have a final today... tomorrow however... tomorrow...

Just scored the last copy @ my local Gamestop (I paid $39.99). I asked the guy working there about the other copies, and he told me they were all used for preorders - nice to hear others have interest.

Otogi seems to bring to hack & slash the same aesthetics that Ico brought to crate-pushing and switch-pulling. The gameplay itself is pretty basic, but the meters-thick mood and atmosphere make a massive difference.

Oh, and I want the soundtrack, if there is one.

I picked up SC2 Xbox also, but I have a feeling it'll be a while before I fire that up.

So, my store is the only store in the area with a reserve for Otogi (mine)...and guess which store didn't recieve it's shipment today. You guessed it! MINE! The ultimate pissoff. I collected my credit and spent it at the store up the road...but I'm still mad. I thought reserving a title gaurantees it's arrival on day one. :curse:

I've known it was going to be $39.99 for a week now. I thought it was common knowledge, so I didn't speak up. Go figure. The one time I actually beat everyone to the punch and I keep my mouth shut. :|

I'm loving the game. It's much more mission oriented than I initially thought, and the Magic Meter slowly depleting really makes you set your priorities straight.

I'm digging heavy on the Butterfly spell right now, along with the Heretic's Blade.
