The familiar 'shoot with B then destroy 'em with A' strategy is gone. Once again, it's not how it used to be. ESPG has gone the DDP route and give the characters a shot/laser system. The B button is what is radically different. When you push it, all of the on-screen shots are slowed to a crawl for a split second and you also have that much invicibilty. Seems simple, but it's really tricky use right. Also, your character transforms. When transformed, the enemies you destroy give you coins (this uses the vacuum effect used in Ketsui). Oh yes, you still can use the C-button like you did in 'RaDe, but it's not the beast that you knew it as. Still useful, though.
As for the look of the game (If you can't see it already), it's more of a pseudo-medieval setting. You face other human enemies with mechanical wings, knights and bizarre fantasy machines. Once again, you get to see the awesome graphic style that Cave is known for. If you thought the enemy deaths were much in Guwange, wait until you see them get taken out here! Some new animation, some old. In the end you still have a colorful, nice-looking game.
thanks seven-force. those are some good shots... sure is pretty too.
Thanks for the pics/info 7F. It looks great and sounds..... intriguing. I hope I get a chance to play it one day.
Can someone spare me 12MB on their FTP?
Pretty please?:D
Looks nice, thanks 7F for these screens and impressions.
